Connect your Facebook Page and Instagram so Directlee can show conversations in Inbox, run automations, and send replies when you allow it.
Prepare your accounts in Meta (recommended first)
Complete these before connecting in Directlee:
Without a professional Instagram account and a Page link, some features stay limited or show warnings in Directlee.
Connect in Directlee
Step 1: Open Connections
Go to Settings → Connections. You will see buttons to connect Facebook, Instagram, and other channels.
Step 2: Connect Facebook
- Click Connect next to Facebook.
- Log in with the Facebook account that administers your Page.
- When Meta asks which Page to use, select the Page linked to your Instagram.
- Allow all permissions Directlee requests (messages, comments, Page access).
Directlee normally connects one Facebook Page per workspace connection flow. Pick the Page that matches the Instagram you use for this brand.
Step 3: Connect Instagram
- Click Connect next to Instagram.
- Log in with your Business or Creator Instagram account.
- Allow all requested permissions.
If Instagram is not professional yet, switch account type first (see guide above), then reconnect.
Step 4: Confirm status
In Settings → Connections, check that both channels show as connected. Open Inbox and send a test message to your account if needed.
Facebook and Instagram together
- Facebook Login connects Messenger and your Page.
- Instagram Login connects Instagram DMs and comment automations.
- For full Instagram automation, Meta expects Instagram to be linked to the Page you use in Directlee.
See Social login for the difference between signing in to Directlee and adding a channel connection.
Reconnecting
If Meta asks you to reconnect, your automations and settings stay saved. Go to Settings → Connections, connect again, and approve permissions.
